Pooja + Richard | Wedding at Texas Old Town in Kyle, Texas

Knowing that Pooja and Richard would make a perfect pair, their friends set them up on a blind date. To keep things casual, it would be a double date—no pressure! However, their friends had to cancel last minute, creating somewhat of an awkward dilemma. Richard was all in though! He kept things traditional and picked Pooja up at her home. Richard immediately impressed with his cool, calm demeanor and his background in the marines.

While Richard is normally quieter, on the date with Pooja, he could not stop talking! He truly wanted to impress Pooja, and he was worried about awkward pauses in their conversation. Richard has us all fooled though, I think. He plays it cool and calm, but he can sure tear it up on the dance floor! He impressed Pooja’s sister and friends with his energetic dance moves at Midnight Rodeo, and they could easily see he was the perfect match for Pooja.

Pooja herself is a force to be reckoned with. This girl is gorgeous and also fierce. As her matron of honor described, Pooja talks a mile-a-minute and her energy is contagious! She planned every last pretty detail of their Texas Old Town wedding,  pulling off the perfect celebration!

Richard and Pooja actually officially married in India with a full-on traditional Indian celebration! They also wanted a traditional Texas wedding (they love country dancing after all!) with all of their Texan friends and family, so they planned their second bash at Texas Old Town.

Marriage to Richard means Pooja is a new mom to Richard’s pup, Apollo! This is their engagement session if you want to see them with their adorable dog! He was on his best behavior, and he is so proud of his parents!!

Pooja and Richard embraced the incoming fall season with rich hues of burgundy, green, and gold. It was a stunningly gorgeous day and everyone more than survived the heat! Pooja and Richard, I am so excited as you head into this chapter of your lives! Best wishes to you both and, of course, Appollo!
